OUR ENERGY
FOR YOUR FUTURE
MARCH BRINGS GREEN

MARCH BRINGS GREEN
A place is never finished. It is always evolving. We have no shortage of ideas for this:
Friendly, committed, and competent—that's how we want to represent your interests here locally vis-à-vis the city. We have noticed that with good arguments and well-thought-out ideas, our district is taken seriously and we can promote good solutions on an equal footing—as is now the case with Riedbergplatz, which will be redesigned in 2026 with more greenery, more shade, and thus more life for all of us.
This is how tangible democracy works! We also promote this publicly here with events such as "How we strengthen our democracy" and "Riedberg takes a stand."
Kalbach and Riedberg are two very different parts of our district. Kalbach is historically grown, with village structures and a strong club culture. Riedberg is young, densely built and characterized by many families, students and people who have newly come to Frankfurt. These differences are a strength, but also bring different needs with them. It is important to us that both parts of the district are seen equally and that the district grows together as a whole.
We are committed to this over the next five years.

Democracy begins in the local advisory councils. Nowhere else are you so close to the issues that matter in your neighborhood. We are available for you by email, social media, and phone. Our district group meetings are usually open to the public in restaurants here in the area, and we welcome any questions or concerns you may have during the local advisory council's public question time. To keep you informed about the topics being discussed, we Greens prepare clear and understandable agendas for you in the display cases - we are the only ones in Frankfurt who do this! And in the future, it will also be available digitally!
Do you have any questions? Are you looking for a solution to a problem? Would you like to become politically active with us? We look forward to hearing from you!
In the local elections, you elect the city council (in the Römer for the whole of Frankfurt) and your local advisory council in Kalbach-Riedberg. It's very easy, just like in other elections: Simply put a cross next to B90/DIE GRÜNEN and you're done.
But if you are well informed and want to support (or oppose) individual candidates, you can do that too: you can find out how on our website.

EU citizens can additionally vote in the City Council and Regional Council elections, while non-EU citizens are limited to the KAV election.
